Better Jobs Ontario (formerly Second Career) is a government funded program to help recently laid-off, unemployed workers find a new career in an in-demand industry. Successful applicants to the program may receive up to $28,000 in funding to help pay for expenses, such as tuition, books, and child care, associated with the cost of training.

As part of Better Jobs Ontario, we offer free workshops to help you figure out if this is the right program for you.

Who is the workshop for?

This workshop is designed for any potential Better Jobs Ontario candidate. If you have recently been laid-off, are currently unemployed and are thinking of enrolling in a training or skills development program to find a job in an in-demand industry, the workshop may be for you.
