Better Jobs Ontario (formerly Second Career) is a government funded program to help recently laid-off, unemployed workers find a new career in an in-demand industry. Successful applicants to the program may receive up to $28,000 in funding to help pay for expenses, such as tuition, books, and child care, associated with the cost of training.
