Situation
Bushra wanted to get back into the workforce full-time after the pandemic forced her to find part-time work. But after hundreds of applications, she still could not find a job that matched her interests.
She needed help with her job search, so she got in touch with VPI. Bushra was partnered with a Career Specialist and they worked together to improve her resume and interview skills. They practised answering common questions in mock interview sessions before each of her job interviews.
With her new resume, interview skills, and confidence, Bushra continued to apply for full-time positions. She landed an interview as a Business Analyst and was hired.
Bushra continues to receive ongoing support from her Career Specialist to give her the best chance of success in her new role.
