“Amazing, I think the staff does amazing work, and they deserve a lot of the credit in helping me find a job”

–Steve, former job seeker

Situation

Steve was having a difficult time looking for a job, and was starting to lose his confidence. He connected with VPI, for help with his resume, and worked closely with one of our expert Career Specialists. Together, they came up with a plan.

Through workshops and one-on-one counselling, Steve learned how to create a tailored, effective resume and it gave him the confidence he needed to continue his job search.

Because we work directly with employers as well as job seekers, we were able to help Steve connect with an employer who was looking for someone who matched Steve’s skills.

With his new resume in hand, Steve applied and was hired for a position with a local employer. He is now enjoying work as a forklift operator.
