Client:Eddie
Goal: Find full-time employment
Challenge: Unable to find work
Support offered: One-on-one job search support, mock interview practice, resume support.
“VPI is an integral service that I believe anyone trying to get back to work can benefit from.”
–Eddie, former job seeker
Situation
After searching for jobs online, Eddie applied to a job that was advertised by VPI. Since we work closely with local employers, we advertise their open job positions to help them find the right candidate – Eddie found one of these job positions.
One of our Career Specialists reached out to Eddie and provided him with information on how VPI can help him find his next job. Intrigued by our services and support – he decided to give VPI a chance to help him with his job search.
Working together his Career Specialist (CS), Eddie received help with his resume, interview practice through mock interviews, and he enrolled in various development courses to help him upgrade his skills and knowledge.
Throughout the process, Eddie received full support from his CS. Satisfied with the level of support and care he received, he says he would not hesitate to recommend VPI to his friends. Eddie still keeps in touch with his Career Specialist and he’s happy to know that if he ever does need help in the future; his CS will be there to guide him through it.
With his new knowledge, skills, and lessons learned from his CS, he managed to find his next career opportunity.
