Production Associate

Wage: $14 / hour
Hours: 40 hours / week
Location: Scarborough

Job description
  • Check for any priority jobs that need to be done before any other jobs
  • Check in process preventative maintenance (IPM) systems to perform all tasks on the list before the jobs are run through
  • Machine start up and ensure the machine is prepared and ready to operate
  • Check panel products before loading to make sure they meet requirements
  • Load panel products into machine and monitor the process
  • Unload panels from machinery
  • Inspect the boards to ensure the boards have been successfully run through
  • Check panel products after unloading to make sure they meet requirements
  • Read interpret and submit reports as required
  • Adhere to all clean up duties and safety rule and regulations
  • Maintain a safe, neat, and orderly workplace
  • Multiple Positions Available
Requirements
  • Ability to read, write, communicate in English to the degree necessary to perform the job.
  • Understand basic arithmetic in reference to instructions where interpretations required.
  • Computer experience required: keyboarding for data entry and documentation.
  • Team working skills are critical for success.
  • Ability to visually verify fine detail work.
  • Good hand, finger and eye coordination required.

General Maintenance Technician

Wage: $14 / hour
Hours: 40 hours / week
Location: Scarborough

Job description
  • Perform predictive/preventative maintenance and scheduled repairs on various production and facility equipment. May also perform emergency repairs and assist with equipment installations as needed.
  • Perform repairs and equipment installations throughout manufacturing facility
  • Dismantle devices to gain access to parts requiring inspection or repair
  • Inspect equipment systems to a level that will identify possible failures and repair or schedule repairs as needed
  • Communicate the completion of all work performed by filling out a maintenance request or a preventative maintenance form
  • Communicate the status of all incomplete tasks verbally and/or via e-mail to the technician taking over the task or the Maintenance Manager
  • Adhere to all environmental, safety and health policies plans and procedures
  • Complete all departmental documentation neatly, completely and accurately
  • Train other technicians in the skills required to perform preventative maintenance on equipment
  • Follow all safety measures when handling chemicals and hazardous waste with regard to use, mixing and disposing chemicals
  • Multiple Positions Available
Requirements
  • Ability to read, write and communicate in English to the degree necessary to perform the job
  • Knowledge and ability to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electro-mechanical equipment
  • Ability to use various tools, to include but not limited to, basic hand tools (e.g., wrenches, screw drivers, measuring devices, etc.), power tools (e.g., drills, saws, grinders, etc.)
  • Ability to follow technical data and instructions (e.g., operation manuals, schematics, and diagrams)
  • Ability to stand throughout the shift and lift 40 pounds without straining
  • 3 years of preventative maintenance, repair and/or installation of industrial/commercial electro-mechanical equipment using skills associated with trades
  • Certified Electricians would be an asset
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred

Lab Technician

Wage: $15 / hour
Hours: 40 hours / week
Location: Scarborough

Job description

The Microsection Lab Technician will perform microsection of PWB and evaluate plated-thruhole quality of in-process and finished products per customer’s specifications. The Microsection Tech must be able to perform all lab analysis using burettes, pipettes, pH/ion meters, atomic absorption spectrophotometer, laboratory balance, hydrometers, hull cells, CVS, and all other lab related equipment. Will perform all lab analysis and special tests for reporting to Plating Managers and Process Engineers. Will be exposed to hazardous waste while performing daily job duties. Technicians will undergo chemical handling training prior to the start of performing these duties and will actively participate in ongoing hazardous waste and chemical handling training.

  • Read and interpret customer print requirements
  • Perform all lab analysis and special tests of chemicals used in the wet process areas
  • Accurately report chemical analysis and tests to Plating Managers and Process Engineers
  • Mall all chemical additions and bath make-ups
  • Complete all internal departmental documentation accurately
  • Keep accurate up to date records regarding currents baths on production floor
  • Troubleshoot and perform maintenance on most lab equipment, chemical controllers, pumps and other lab related equipment
  • Interacts with vendors and visitors
  • Perform lab inventory and identify chemicals and equipment needed to order
  • Conducting ionic contamination test
  • Sorting and labelling microssection coupons as required
  • Conducting solderabillity tests and thermal stress tests, Maintaining production logs and test reports

Requirements
  • Able to evaluate dielectric thickness, plasma etchback, copper plating thickness and trace widths
  • Able to setup, grind and polish sections
  • Able to use metallurgical microscope
  • Able to read, record, analyze and report all data accurately
  • Ability to read, write and communicate in English to the degree necessary to perform the job
  • Knowledgeable in laboratory procedures
  • Able to work independently and have the capability to maintain accept/reject disposition. Able to follow documented procedures
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Experience with PWB acceptability standards, IPC and MIL-P-5510 specifications preferred. Laboratory experience strongly preferred
