Careers in the Trades is back!

In 2019 we organized a week of large events across Southern Ontario to inform job seekers about the skilled trades. With dozens of partners and hundreds of job seekers in attendance, these events were so successful that we’re running them again in 2020.

What can you do at these events?

Careers in the Trades is a week of free events designed to inform students, job seekers, and experienced tradespeople about apprenticeships, training, and job opportunities in the skilled trades.

At these events you’ll be able to:

  • Learn about funding, apprenticeships, and training programs
  • Hear from experienced tradespeople
  • Visit employer and partner booths
  • Apply for open job opportunities
  • Network with other job seekers
  • Participate in prize draws

Who will be there?

We’re partnering with local organizations and businesses to share their real-world experience and industry-specific information.

We’ll be running 8 events across Southern Ontario. Each event will have different partners participating and different local employers hiring. Check each individual event to see what organizations will be attending which events.
