We’re launching the Youth Job Connection program in Milton on January 23. The program offers paid pre-employment workshops and paid job placements to help youth aged 15-29 overcome employment barriers including, but not limited to, disability, unstable housing, lack of experience or literacy challenges This program is funded by the Ontario government and provided to youth for free.

How to get started with the program?

STEP 1 – Attend an info session:

STEP 2 – Attend workshops: *

  • Dates: January 23, 25, 27, 30 and February 1
  • Time: 9:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
  • Location: Milton Pubic Library, 1010 Main Street East, Milton, Ontario

*Workshop participants will be paid $11.40/hour

What happens after workshops are complete?

After completing the workshops, participants will be offered a paid job placement that may last up to 6 months. In most cases participants are hired after their placement has ended.
