This two day workshop is designed to bring clients a full overview of the job search process – from identifying key skills and qualifications and writing resumes. Clients will gain information on Networking, Self-Marketing as well as how to research potential employers. This is both an informational and hands-on session allowing clients to not only experience a presentation on each topic, but also work actively on projects during the session time.

Overview: A synopsis of advantages associated with practicing interview techniques when it comes to job searching.

Mock Interview Session: Clients will have an opportunity to practice real life interview settings through role playing. Clients will be asked a series of questions typically asked by employers.

Conclusion: Clients will receive feedback of their mock interview results. Any outlined client improvements will be further supported by proactive feedback and by referring clients to our Webex workshops as well as ERC Activities.

Free Resume Assistance every Monday from 9:00am-11:00am

Clients will receive a resume development package to assist and guide them while they are entering information into templates.

Clients will also have access to various resume development books if needed.

After completion of filling up the templates, clients will receive a brief resume critique and tips from the Resource Specialist.

Clients will also receive a list of important job search sites.
