Gail Rieschi-President & CEO

With more than 30 years experience in vocational rehabilitation and disability management, vpi‘s visionary founder has provided specialized talent & claims management services for 20 years. She has successfully assisted thousands of people in making decisions about their education and career direction through identifying their interests and employment predispositions. She has also helped businesses manage health claim costs, increase productivity through training programs and find qualified, new hires that match their corporate culture.

As a sought-after presenter, Gail has delivered courses, seminars and presentations at numerous national conferences. She has written about disability management, work-related mental health and organizational development for several industry journals and trade magazines.

Her education includes a B.A. from York University and a Masters of Education from the University of Calgary, specializing in rehabilitation and disability studies within an organizational development framework. She is a Certified Rehabilitation Counsellor (CCRC) and Certified Vocational Evaluation Specialist (CVE) and holds a Certificate in Disability Management (NIDMAR).

Mark Elston-Chief Financial Officer

Mark Elston is an accomplished accounting professional with over 20 years of progressive experience in a variety of industries such as Consumer Products manufacturing, Financial Services, Information Technology, Logistics and General Merchandise Retailing for such companies as Hershey Foods, Unilever Canada, Sears Canada, De Lage Landen Financial Services, and Canadian Pacific. His experience includes over eight years as a CFO. Mark’s demonstrated strengths include; Taxation, Business Process Engineering, Project Management and the implementation of Information Technology as a process improvement enabler.

He possesses both a CMA (Certified Management Accountant) and CGA (Certified General Accountant) designation. In addition, Mark is a graduate of the University of Guelph with a B.A. in Management / Economics.

Mark joined vpi in January, 2010, and is located at vpi‘s Mississauga headquarters. As a member of vpi‘s executive team, Mark blends his significant financial background with his passion for technology to help build and execute vpi’s strategic growth plan.  Mark works closely with our internal teams, our vendor partners, and our customers to ensure that all of our enterprise-level interactions are conducted within the constructs of efficient, proactive governance processes.
