Throughout January we’re hosting Hiring Events and Special Events designed to help job seekers find work. These events are hosted across our 17 locations in the GTA and Bruce County. Most events are free and all events require registration in advance.

Hiring events

Attend one of our free hiring events to get familiar with the hiring process and meet employers who are actively hiring. Many of our Hiring Events include on-the-spot interviews with an employer or hiring manager.

The goal with all of our Special Events is to help job seekers improve their chances of getting hired. These events include expert guest speakers, information sessions about available opportunities and training events for skills like first aid or Smart Serve certification.

The Youth Job Connection program offers paid pre-employment training and paid job placements to help youth overcome barriers to employment. The purpose of these info sessions is to teach job seekers what the Youth Job Connection program is all about. At the end of the session, participants will understand the program eligibility requirements, benefits and how to register successfully.
